SHREE PFMS

1. Introduction

SHREE PFMS is a Chrome extension designed to automate PFMS beneficiary data entry and to convert JSY beneficiary Excel data into a PFMS-compatible format.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension processes, how that information is used, and how it is protected.

2. Information We Process

Depending on the features used, SHREE PFMS may process the following information:

• User's registered email address.
• Beneficiary information provided through Excel files.
• Beneficiary name, gender, mobile number, bank details, account number, address, and related PFMS information.
• Extension settings and automation progress.

3. How We Use Information

Information processed by SHREE PFMS is used only for providing the extension's features, including:

• Verifying authorized users.
• Checking the user's account activation status.
• Converting JSY Excel data into the required PFMS format.
• Automatically populating PFMS beneficiary forms.
• Maintaining automation progress between PFMS page reloads.

4. Data Storage

SHREE PFMS may use Chrome's local extension storage to save uploaded Excel data, automation progress, the current record index, extension settings, and the authorized email address.

This storage allows the extension to preserve the user's workflow when PFMS pages are refreshed.

The extension does not sell or rent user data to third parties.

5. Firebase and Account Verification

SHREE PFMS uses Firebase Firestore to verify the registered user's email address and account activation status.

The Firebase service is used to determine whether an account is authorized to use the extension's automation features.

6. PFMS Website Access

SHREE PFMS interacts with the PFMS website when the user activates the automation features.

The extension may read and interact with PFMS form fields, dropdowns, buttons, and related page elements in order to automate beneficiary data entry.

The extension does not use this permission to monitor unrelated websites.

7. Third-Party Services

SHREE PFMS interacts with the following services:

• PFMS: https://pfms.nic.in/
• Google Firebase / Firestore for account verification.

8. Data Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information processed by SHREE PFMS.

Users should only upload files containing information necessary for PFMS processing and should protect their own device and browser account.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally by the extension remains within the user's Chrome profile unless it is cleared by the user or removed with the extension.

Users can clear locally stored extension data using the extension's Reset/Clear functionality or by removing the extension.

10. Children's Privacy

SHREE PFMS is not specifically directed toward children and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data practices change.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
